DISKIT - Digital Skills Trainer

DISKIT is a flexible, free online learning programme designed to support education professionals in effectively teaching digital skills, focusing on adult education and basic digital competence. Participants can complete seven core modules as well as thematic and target group-specific modules at their own pace according to individual learning needs.

About this programme

The programme targets educators, trainers, and other professionals involved in teaching or supporting learning processes. Learning content includes the practical application of DigComp, teaching methodologies for digital skills using accessible and interactive approaches, media literacy and information competence, legal foundations, and the design of both in-person and online learning environments. Additional modules address topics such as teaching artificial intelligence skills and online safety.

DISKIT offers a variety of learning formats on its Moodle platform, including live and on-demand webinars, videos, interactive exercises, and self-assessment quizzes. Upon completion of modules, participants receive digital badges as proof of achievement.

Learning outcomes

After completing the training, participants can design and deliver digital skills training aligned with DigComp. They are able to plan learner-centred courses and address diverse learner needs, formulate clear learning outcomes, and apply appropriate methods in both online and face-to-face settings. They can select and use digital tools and learning materials effectively, foster participation and engagement, and support learners through feedback, reflection, and empowerment strategies.
