Human Centred Artificial Intelligence Master (HCAIM) Created byEleonora Censorii|UpdatedagoBlendedThe Human Centred Artificial Intelligence Master (HCAIM) is a higher education programme funded by the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), which was developed by a Consortium of three excellence centres, three SMEs and four Universities. The partnership brings together professionals from the world of academia and companies with considerable records of interest in the human-centered and ethical aspects of AI.Aspiring Master students will be able to register for the Master in one of the 4 Universities:Technological University (TU) Dublin HU University of Applied Sciences of UtrechtUniversity of Naples “Federico II”Budapest University of Technology and EconomicsHCAIM is geared toward training professionals to become social value-oriented AI architects who pay special attention to the responsible application of artificial intelligence.Aims and objectivesHow do we ensure that Artificial Intelligence is used for the common good?In aiming to create a human-centred masters programme in AI, the HCAIM Consortium has followed the definition provided by the European Commission's High-level expert group on artificial intelligence (HLEG): “The human-centric approach to AI strives to ensure that human values are central to how AI systems are developed, deployed, used, and monitored, by ensuring respect for fundamental rights.”To meet the requirements of this definition, the programme covers the technical, ethical, and practical elements of AI, designed around the three phases of the MLOps lifecycle – development, deployment, and maintenance of machine learning models. This produced three core modules in alignment with MLOps phases: Modelling (Module A), Deployment (Module B), and Evaluation (Module C). We have added a fourth module, Graduation (Module D), to enable students to show that they can independently solve challenges proposed by the industry based on current needs and requirements related to human-centred AI. Learning outcomes The MSc Programme has been built to train professionals in the field as socially-responsible and ethically aware AI architects. In particular, these architects pay attention to the responsible application of AI, in line with the vision of the European Union.More information and requirementsThe programme begins every year in September. Application deadlines vary depending on the University. For more information on application deadlines, visit the individual university websites. The minimum entry requirement for standard entrants to the programme is a 2:2 (GPA 2.5 or equivalent), in a Bachelor of Science in Computing (Level 8) or a cognate discipline or equivalent. Candidates not attaining this standard level must achieve an acceptable standard for progression by other means approved by QQI. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English. Candidates may be interviewed to determine eligibility.HCAIM on the DSJPThe Platform now hosts a special page dedicated to the HCAIM Master where you can discover the full programme and freely access the learning material.Training Offer DetailsWebsite linkHCAIM Master Project websiteMSc page at TU DublinMSc page at HU UtrechtMSc page at the University of Naples “Federico II” MSc page at Budapest University of Technology and EconomicsDigital technology / specialisationArtificial IntelligenceMachine LearningTraining opportunitiesEducational programmeLearning EffortFull timeSelf-pacedNoDuration Time2 YearsDigital skill levelIntermediateAdvancedDigital ExpertProvider OrganisationTechnological University DublinUniversity of Naples Federico IIHU University of Applied Sciences UtrechtBudapest University of Technology and Economics (BME)Geographic scope - CountryAustriaBelgiumBulgariaCyprusRomaniaSloveniaCroatiaCzech republicDenmarkEstoniaFinlandFranceGermanyGreeceHungaryItalyIrelandMaltaLatviaLithuaniaLuxembourgNetherlandsPortugalPolandSwedenSpainSlovakiaShow moreShow lessTarget languageDutchEnglishIrishItalianField of education and trainingInformation and Communication Technologies (ICTs) not further definedIs this course freeNoCourse Amount3000.00€Credential offeredQualification AwardPrerequisitesNoUpcoming courseNoLog in to comment
