CEF Telecom celebrates a decade: a spotlight on AI4Gov’s Master Programme
As the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Programme celebrates its 10th anniversary, European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) highlights projects supported by CEF-Telecom, including the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition and the European Platform for Digital Skills. These initiatives enhance national digital skills infrastructures across Europe.
This month's focus on the AI4Gov Master Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Public Services, addressing the need for AI expertise in the public sector. This innovative master programme integrates disciplines such as Service Design, AI, Ethics, and Policy, fostering a Human-Centric AI ecosystem aligned with Europe's broader digital vision.
Launched in 2020, the AI4Gov programme is a collaborative effort by four European universities: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), and Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia). From 2021 to 2024, nearly 120 participants from 50 countries, including government and industry professionals, have graduated from the programme.
In recognition of its innovative approach, the AI4Gov Master Programme received the European Digital Skills Awards 2023 in the 'Digital Upskilling @ Work' category.
