Inspiration Quantum (QTindu)

The course Inspiration Quantum is designed to build intuition, familiarity and competence about basic concepts of quantum science and technologies, highlighting their potential fields of application. The course is developed in the framework of the QTindu project. It is funded under the DIGITAL Europe Programme of the European Union, and aims to develop and bring short-term training courses to different sectors. 

Inspiration Quantum introduces basic concepts of quantum science and technologies without the use of mathematical formalism, while maintaining impeccable scientific rigour. It also explains how quantum computers encode, process, and extract information through measurement.

Why this course? 

Starting from the fundamentals, the course gives then an overview of potential fields of application of quantum technology, especially quantum computing, and prepares the students to critically analyse related news, and to distinguish truthful and accurate sources from misleading or hyped media sources and economic reports.

The learning experience is enriched by the diverse formats of the material (videos, animations, schematics, interacting windows), along with activities and exercises that measure the user’s knowledge and engagement throughout the course.
