Start Date
01.October.2026
End date
31.Mar.2027

The Learning Robots training is a project-based microcredential focusing on modern approaches in robot learning and applied artificial intelligence. Participants work in small teams to design, implement, and evaluate an intelligent robotic system in a simulated or real environment.

The course follows a structured research-oriented workflow:

  1. Definition of a concrete robotics project idea
  2. Literature review and selection of relevant methods
  3. Design of system architecture and algorithmic approach
  4. Implementation in a simulation environment (e.g. ROS-based systems)
  5. Iterative testing, evaluation, and optimization
  6. Transfer to real or high-fidelity simulated robotic platforms
  7. Documentation and final presentation of results

The module emphasizes applied machine learning methods in robotics, including perception, reinforcement learning, and robotic control systems.
