Snap4City: Smart City IoT Training Created byNiamh Thornton|Updated01 June 2024OnlineThe Smart City IoT Course, from data gathering to smart applications and Control Rooms, is a training offered by Snap4City, taking place fully online where participants learn to create professional dashboards, IoT applications and smart solutions, without needing to be programmers.The course can also be useful for programmers as it can provide tools to accelerate tasks through programming technologies for mobile applications, IoT, GIS and business intelligence tools. Provided with training materials, participants will have the right to use the Snap4City slide presentations, full access to the online platform and development tools and exercises throughout the course. The training is open to everyone following a free regirstration on the platform, and a final certificate will be provided on request to certify the level of proficiency on the Snap4City Platform and tools. The Snap4City Platform is managed by the Distributed Systems and Internet Technologies (DISIT) Lab of University of Florence and works with several other organisations across Europe. The Platform and trainings have been successfully used by data analysts, developers, project managers, researchers, students and more, from 26 different nationalities.
