State STEM scholarships vary according to the type of study:

  • STEM teacher studies – for students studying in STEM subjects, the monthly scholarship amounts to EUR 600.
  • Non-teaching STEM studies – for students in general STEM education, the monthly grant amounts to EUR 300.

The scholarship will be paid out in nine monthly instalments during the academic year, providing students with stable financial support.

Who can apply?

STEM scholarships are open to students studying in fields such as biotechnical, technical, biomedical and natural sciences. Also, students of informatics, business informatics, information sciences, informatology and information technology, as well as all those who acquire the academic or professional title of university bachelor, master of informatics or information sciences, can apply.

For STEM teaching studies, all students studying in STEM teaching fields, including informatics, are included, and have a license to conduct teaching studies. Scholarships are awarded to all eligible students, according to separate lists for teaching studies and ranking lists based on the level and year of study.

Submission to the competition
