'Blockchain Adoption Strategies for SMEs in the Food Sector' is an online course developed in the context of the TRUST-FOOD project, funded under the DIGITAL Europe Programme of the European Union. The objective of the course is to upskill employees in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), working in the agri-food sector.
The TRUST-FOOD project offers a comprehensive series of short-term courses designed to advance digital skills with a focus on blockchain applications within the food supply chain in an attempt to provide support to SME employees in the food sector and build capacity in key areas.
Why this course?
This course aims to equip participants with an understanding of the potential benefits and challenges associated with integrating blockchain technology in small and medium-sized enterprises within the food industry. The course investigates the transformative impact of blockchain in enhancing traceability, reducing fraud, and building consumer trust, while also addressing the technical and financial complexities inherent in its adoption.
