MSc in Medical Engineering and Informatics (MEI)
The postgraduate program aims to provide high quality graduate education in Medical Engineering and Informatics, a modern field of medicine, which resulted from the development of information and new engineering technologies and their application in medicine. The aim is to promote interdisciplinary approaches and specialize graduates in areas of technological applications in medicine and enable them to contribute to health care through research, development and service delivery. The educational content of the program is based on theoretical, laboratory and practical education, as well as training through knowledge and skills transfer relating both to general research methodology in medical informatics and engineering, and specialization in applied medical technology.
The program is intended for graduates from the fields of engineering, science, and health science.
Objectives
Upon completion, in addition to the basic knowledge of their discipline and profession participants will be able to:
- combine their previous experience with technological knowledge in applied medical practice, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided.
Duration: One year (75 ECTS)
Tuition cost: 2000 €, payable in two installments
