The ordinance entered into force on the day of its announcement, with effect from 16 November 2015. In accordance with the decree of the Prime Minister of 9 December 2015, the Minister of Digital Affairs heads the computerisation department of the government administration.The aim of the Ministry of Digital Affairs is to enhance Poland's image as an innovative and friendly country and promote a variety of interactions between the state, citizens, entrepreneurs and the business sector. The Ministry of Digital Affairs has yet another goal: helping people better their lives and maximise the impact of digitalisation.
