Digitalidag is an annual nationwide theme day focusing on the opportunities and challenges of digitalization. This theme day serves as a tool to unite efforts and place digitalization at the top of the agenda for one day. Activities are conducted throughout the country with the aim of inspiring more people to want and be able to be part of the digital development. The long-term value is created both before and after the theme day.

Digitalidag believes that broad cooperation is necessary to succeed with the digital transition. Sweden has the infrastructure, both physical meeting places and competence, needed to create a digitally inclusive society for everyone. However, this infrastructure needs to be activated in new ways.

Digitalidag has grown to become an independent platform for cooperation. Through close collaboration and established relationships with over 250 actors, Digitalidag serves as a bridge to initiate new collaborations and efforts, with the goal of reaching out more broadly together.

In addition to this, actors in Digitalidag's boards also contribute with work resources. These actors include AB Volvo, Axel Johnson, Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), Swedish Trade Union Confederation, LO, McKinsey & Company, Agency for Digital Government (DIGG), Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education (MYH), Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS), SACO, SEB, Church of Sweden, Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR), Swedish National Service Center, Linköping University, TCO and Wallenberg Foundations (WFAB).
