The University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB) is the oldest and most prestigious engineer school in Romania founded in 1818. Since 1818, it has undergone various name changes since its inception and adopted the name University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 1912. The UPB aims to train specialists in various technical fields to become engineers capable of adapting to the requirements of the market economy and new technologies.
