Founded in 1991, the University of West Bohemia is a leading research institute in the Czech Republic and the European space. It has a strong research focus with three Research Centres and one European Centre of Excellence and offers Bachelor, Master, and PhD study programmes in both Czech and English language. The University of West Bohemia has nine faculties with over 60 departments and two institutes of higher education.
