AMIF-2025-TF2-AG-INTE-03-DIGITAL- Improving digital skills among migrants

Context 

The Action Plan on Integration and Inclusion 2021–2027 underscores the importance of digital innovation in improving migrants’ access to integration services. While digital tools and platforms can support language learning, employment, and civic participation, many migrants, especially women, the elderly, people with disabilities, and the illiterate, face access barriers.

This funding call aims at supporting initiatives that address the specific digital needs of migrants and promote inclusive access to digital education, training, and services.

Areas

• Digital Skills for Employment: Training and tools to help migrants enhance their digital skills for job opportunities, including resources for professionals supporting this goal.
• IT Professional Skills: Specialised training to help migrants gain IT-related skills and support materials for trainers.
• Targeted Support for Vulnerable Groups: Digital skills initiatives tailored to specific groups like women, the elderly, migrants with disabilities, and illiterate migrants.
• Innovative Learning Methods: Creative approaches to teaching digital skills to migrants with low digital literacy, especially those in vulnerable groups.
• Events for Exchange and Learning: Organization of workshops, conferences, and other mutual learning opportunities to share experiences and best practices in improving migrants’ digital skills, with a focus on the most disadvantaged groups.

Target Groups

• Migrants as defined for this call, especially migrant women, the elderly, migrants with disabilities, or illiterate migrants who face additional difficulties in accessing digital services;
• Teachers, trainers, and other providers of courses to improve digital skills who are engaging with migrants.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants need to: 

• be legal entities
• be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.: - EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs)), excluding Denmark
• countries associated to the AMIF or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature

Funding

• Total Budget: up to 34 000 000 EUR
• Amount per Topic 3: EUR 5 000 000
• Amount per project: Min. EUR 1 000 000 - Max EUR 2 000 000

Timeline

• Deadline for submission: 16 September 2025 – 17:00:00 CET (Brussels)
• Evaluation: September 2025-February 2026
• Information on evaluation results: February 2026
• GA signature: May/June 2026

Consortium Composition 

Consortium must be composed of:

• minimum five applicants (beneficiaries; not affiliated entities) from five different participating Member States. Affiliated entities and international organisations cannot be counted for reaching the minimum number of participating Member States;
• profit making entities can NOT apply as coordinator
