This initiative aims to address the deep tech skills gap by equipping a diverse and inclusive workforce with critical competencies, thereby positioning Europe as a leader in deep tech talent development.ObjectivesIncrease the number of individuals trained in deep tech, targeting both higher education students and adult learners in the workforce.Expand and diversify the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative's training catalogue.Foster collaboration among the initiative's 400+ pledgers as of February 2025.Topics Applications must focus on enhancing, improving, expanding, or updating deep tech training content and programmes across any of the 15 deep tech areas covered by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative:Advanced Computing / Quantum ComputingAdvanced ManufacturingAdvanced MaterialsAerospace, Automotive and Remote SensingArtificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including Big DataBiotechnology and Life SciencesCommunications and Networks, including 5GCybersecurity and Data ProtectionElectronics and PhotonicsInternet of Things, W3C, Semantic WebRoboticsSemiconductors (microchips)Sustainable Energy and Clean TechnologiesVirtual Reality, Augmented Reality, MetaverseWeb 3.0, including Blockchain, Distributed Ledgers, NFTsFundingUp to €1 million is available, with each consortium eligible to request up to €60,000.Eligibility and Consortium Composition The call is open to all legal entities in EU Member States, Overseas Countries and Territories linked to Member States, countries associated with Horizon Europe, and low- and middle-income countries. All applicants must have signed the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative Pledge and become Pledgers no later than 10 working days before the call deadline.
