Portugal Tech Week 2023

Overview

Portugal Tech Week aims to decentralize access to technology and innovation, bringing together a schedule of more than 200 events around Portugal (majority of free events), from +100 event organizers in +10 cities. On its first edition, it already has become the biggest innovation festival in Portugal and one of the biggest in the world! 

In detail

Portugal Tech Week was born with the ambition of decentralizing innovation and make it more accessible to more people around the country.

From the November 10th to the 20th, the initiative will bring together more than 200  free events, aiming to attract people to tech, by putting together an agenda with +200 events, from free workshops in tech until very high end networking events.

During this period, a lot of large and expensive conferences happens in the country, which makes access to innovation, inaccessible by most of the inhabitants.

By spreading the importance of technology and innovation through the dissemination of knowledge and networking, the initiative will multiply the value generated by the great conferences that take place during this period in the four corners of the country, and provide free sessions to introduce and reskill people into technology.

Another huge issue, is that  during the web summit, pretty much everything happens in Lisbon, and our goal, is to make more things to happens in other cities, so its inhabitants would still have access to innovation.
