Digital Europe Day "Promoting Young Talent''

On 5 April 2024, the Europe Direct Zamora Center organizes the Digital Europe Day "Promoting Young Talent'', promoting digital skills and employability. The event will focus on promoting young talent as part of the European Year of Skills activities and it is organised by the Rei Afonso Henriques Foundation.

About the Digital Europe Day "Promoting Young Talent''

This initiative supports lifelong learning and the transition to a greener and more digital society, in line with the EU's 2030 social goals. The conference aimed to enhance the competitiveness, participation, and talent of young vocational students in the city, focusing on improving their employability and digital skills. Additionally, the conference introduced a new development in the European digital agenda: a pilot project for digital skills certification tests under the DIGCOMP framework. This certification will allow young people and job seekers to showcase their digital proficiency when seeking employment. Attendees will be able to take the certification exam during the conference and receive accreditation for their digital skills level.
