On 21 March, as part of the European Year of Skills, the EPALE - Adult Learning in Europe platform of the European Commission invites you to attend the Conference ''Ecology and Digital... Allies or Adversaries?''. A roundtable will follow the Conference and will take place in Brussels, Belgium. This event aims to highlight current skills gaps and challenges faced by various stakeholders such as employers, workers, educators, and policymakers.

Event's details

How can individuals be supported in acquiring relevant skills during this period of ecological, digital, and labor market transition? Ecology and digital: allies or adversaries? The event aims to examine how digital technology can support ecological initiatives. It helps participants understand the opportunities and challenges at the intersection of ecology and digital technology, enabling them to anticipate and adapt to changing skill demands in a rapidly evolving landscape.  It will also explore skills development trends, examine the labour market's future in Belgium, and propose strategies to empower Europeans to adapt to the technological and social changes reshaping the professional world. These discussions are framed within the context of the dual transition: ecological and digital, the event will be followed by a networking lunch.
