EU Code Week 2025: Launching a New Wave of Digital Creativity

Virtual Live

EU Code Week 2025 runs from 11 to 26 October, bringing coding, creativity, and digital confidence into classrooms, communities, and homes across Europe. The celebrations kick off with the EU Code Week Launch Event on 13 October, 14:00–16:00 (CEST). Hosted online by MEP Victor Negrescu, Vice-President of the European Parliament, this high-energy opening will gather policymakers, educators, industry voices, and the grassroots community that powers EU Code Week.

What to expect?

Expect an engaging programme of keynotes, panel discussions, and live demonstrations tackling the future of digital skills. From the role of artificial intelligence in education and careers to initiatives advancing diversity and inclusion, the launch will spotlight how coding is shaping Europe’s digital decade.

The event will also mark the official start of the EU Code Week Hackathons 2025, and feature contributions from young people, teachers, and volunteers who are transforming digital learning on the ground. Why tune in? Because EU Code Week is more than a campaign — it’s a grassroots movement making digital creativity accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or experience.

Whether you’re a teacher, policymaker, student, parent, or digital enthusiast, the launch is your chance to connect with the community and discover how you can be part of this year’s edition.
