Inclusion of women in the digital sector: sharing good practices

Virtual Live

The digital revolution brings enormous potential to improve social and economic outcomes for women, but it also poses the risk of perpetuating existing patterns of gender inequality. Despite many important initiatives, a significant digital gender gap remains, limiting the equitable realization of the benefits of digital transformation in high-, low- and middle-income countries. Women represent only 18% of professional jobs in the field of ICT and 20% of graduates in this field.

Simbioza, together with the EOS Romania Foundation, is organizing an online event "Inclusion of Women in the Digital Sector", which will take place on  Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. (CET) . We will present examples of good practices gained through our projects dedicated to women and girls in IT. We will also be joined by  Tanja Bivic Plankar  - President of the  Blockchain Alliance Europe (SI),  Katja Mohar Bastar  - Director of the  Digital Innovation Junction of Slovenia and  Božidarka Radović  - Head of development of the system for electronic prescription of medicines at  Better. The event is intended for organizations, companies and individuals who are interested in projects to strengthen the roles of women in the digital sector.

Join the event and learn about our best practices!
