International Conference: Think Digital. Act Sustainable
On 4 November 2025, Riga will host the international conference “Think Digital. Act Sustainable.”, organized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia (VARAM) in cooperation with the SusTool (Sustainability Reporting Tool) project supported by Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme.
The conference will focus on the connection between digitalization and sustainability and how these two areas can support regional development in the Baltic Sea region. Participants will discuss how digital tools, data use, and innovation can contribute to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
The programme will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, andinteractive sessions featuring representatives from public authorities, research institutions, businesses, and non-governmental organizations. The event will also provide an opportunity for networking and exchange of experiences among participants from different Baltic Sea region countries.
The event will take place at VEF Quarter (VEF kvartāls), Kultūrvieta Spīdola, Ieriķu iela 5A, Riga. The working language of the conference is English.
Participation in the event is free of charge, but registration is required.
For those unable to attend in person, the conference will be broadcast live on the VARAM Facebook page, allowing a wider audience to follow the discussions online.
