MERIT Project online International industry engagement eorkshop on IoT

On 28 May 2025, the MERIT project will organise an Online International Industry Engagement Workshop on the Internet of Things (IoT). This workshop will bring together SMES, higher education institutions (HEIs), IoT experts, and students from European countries to share their insights and lay the foundation for future collaborations.

Why join the workshop?

This year’s workshop will be moderated by Prof. Raivo Sell from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech, Estonia), a leading expert in robotics and autonomous vehicles. The central topic is IoT in practice: connecting machines, data, and people,focusing on real-world applications and industry insights. While all interested participants are welcome, only organisations actively working in the IoT field will be able to present their experiences. By attending, you will:

  • Engage with industry leaders and IoT specialists.

  • Discover cutting-edge IoT solutions and industry trends.

  • Contribute to discussions shaping the future of MERIT master's study programmes.

The workshop will be recorded and shared on MERIT channels to ensure broader knowledge dissemination.

While the event is open to all individuals interested in the Internet of Things (IoT), only organisations active in the sector will be eligible to showcase their solutions. The organisers are seeking contributions from organisations willing to share insights on emerging trends and strategic directions in IoT. Such input will support other companies and students in understanding current developments and identifying opportunities for upskilling and innovation. Selected organisations will be contacted for further details regarding their participation. Presenters must register and submit their presentations by 12 May 2025.
