MERIT

logos_leads_MERIT

The MERIT project aims to create an educational ecosystem for training digital specialists by bringing together universities, industry partners, research centres, and technology organizations. The project focuses on the design of a joint Master's programme that addresses the market needs in Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Cybersecurity.

MERIT aims to increase the number of specialists in these areas through various means such as raising awareness, reskilling non-specialists, promoting diversity, providing short-term courses, and developing learning resources for lifelong learning. The programme will offer a high-quality and flexible career path with mobility opportunities, blended learning options, research integration, and support for students' career development. The project also targets European countries with low digital indexes and aims to prioritise underrepresented communities through scholarships and incentives.

Scope

The main scope of MERIT project is to build a dynamic educational ecosystem to train digital specialists, where different stakeholders collaborate on the design of a new Master programme.
