Nexus 2050 – the International Tech Pulse

Nexus 2050 is a new annual technology event, which dedicates 3 whole days of discovery, inspiration and learning, as well as plenty of opportunities for meetings, networking and matchmaking. On 26 and 27th June 2024, join Nexus 2050. 

About this event

Nexus 2050 is an international hub for actors combining the green and digital transitions, aiming to harness technology for the benefit of governments, organisations and businesses to achieve their carbon neutrality strategies by 2050. It is about using technology to advance humanity, taking into account productivity gains as well as pressing ethical challenges.

Main themes and participants

For its 1st edition, Nexus 2050 will focus on artificial intelligence, sustainability, cybersecurity, fintech, and talent attraction and development. The event aims to showcase further the booming Luxembourgish tech and innovation ecosystem, drawing attention to a range of excellent initiatives from throughout the public and private sphere. 

Approximately 200 start-ups from various technology sectors, all exhibitors at Nexus 2050, will participate in the event. The audience will include investors, mentors, entrepreneurs, media, and other industry professionals, offering a unique opportunity for networking and fruitful exchanges.

On the first 2 days (26 - 27 June), Nexus 2050 will be held in Luxembourg City, in the halls of LuxExpo The Box, with an exhibition area, a symposium, an international matchmaking area, numerous cocktails and seated dinners. The third day is dedicated to strategic follow-up meetings and bus tours for students to discover leading companies and get some inspiration and insight from expert professionals in digital, tech, and business.
