Safer Internet Forum 2022

Event location
Rue Royale - Koningsstraat, 250, 1210 Brussels, Belgium

SIF is the key annual event where policy makers, researchers, law enforcement agencies, young people, parents and caregivers, teachers, NGOs, industry representatives, experts, and many other relevant actors come together to discuss the most recent trends, risks, and solutions related to children's online safety and improving the internet for everyone.

This year’s edition will take place in a hybrid format on Thursday, 27 October 2022 with a theme of A Digital Decade for children and youth: BIK+ to protect, empower and respect!

Following the recent launch of the new BIK+ strategy, this year's edition will offer a chance to debate the strategy in depth, defining its primary goals and top priorities. Significantly, the event will be organised in a youth-led way, with young people actively participating in the planning, preparation, and delivery of the Forum. This is important given the strategy's core focus on youth involvement and empowerment and to celebrate also the European Year of Youth.

Find out more, view the draft agenda, and register for online attendance here.

Registration for online attendance is available until the deadline of close of business on Wednesday, 19 October 2022.
