Spotlight on the EDSA 2025 Finalists: Discover the initiatives driving digital skills across Europe

The European Digital Skills Awards (EDSA), organised annually by the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform of the European Commission, are back with a new edition full of inspiration, innovation, and recognition.  This year, the Awards Ceremony will take place on 12 November 2025 at the LEADS20x30 Digital Summits, but before the spotlight shines on the winners, an exciting milestone is approaching.

On 27 October 2025, join the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, for a special webinar that will officially reveal the EDSA 2025 finalists across all awards categories. This moment marks the celebration of outstanding projects and initiatives that are transforming Europe’s digital skills landscape and helping to shape a more competitive, sustainable, and inclusive digital future.

  • 15:35 – 15:45 – Keynote speech – Rehana Schwinner-Ladak, Deputy Director for Data, DG CNECT

  • 16:00 – 16:05 – Introduction of EDSA 2025 Jury Members

  • 16:05 – 16:25 – Official announcement of EDSA 2025 finalists – moderated by DSJP Representative

Beyond the big reveal, the session will host a high-level discussion on the role of advanced digital skills in meeting, the EU’s Digital Decade targets and advancing the Union of Skills initiative. It will also be an opportunity to connect with leading voices, hear inspiring best practices from previous finalists, and see how innovative approaches are helping Europe bridge the digital skills gap
