Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence - Apply Now!

The Arqus European University Alliance has announced the opening of applications for the 2025/2027 intake of its Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence. This innovative programme provides students with specialized skills and global insights into the rapidly expanding fields of cybersecurity and cyberintelligence.

Jointly delivered by four prestigious universities—University of Granada (Spain), University of Minho (Portugal), University of Padua (Italy), and Vilnius University (Lithuania)—the programme offers an interdisciplinary approach that blends technical expertise with cultural diversity. Over two years, students will rotate across partner institutions each semester, gaining international exposure and hands-on experience in key areas such as cryptography, ethical hacking, cyber intelligence, and global cybersecurity management.

The master's is also supported by the European Project Cyberactioning. This additional funding brings the programme to reach the excellence from a quality point of view, with the participation of industry and relevant research centres in the field of cybersecurity.

Application Rounds and Deadlines

The selection process for the 2025/2027 cohort comprises two rounds:

  • First call: 14 January – 17 February 2025 (open to all applicants, with priority given to this round for admissions and scholarship allocation). Non-EU and non-EEA candidates must apply during this period.
  • Second call: 17 February – 25 April 2025 (only available to EU and EEA applicants, subject to remaining spots).

Application Requirements

Prospective students must submit their applications through the Arqus Alliance application portal, including the following documents:

  • A certified bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
  • Official academic transcripts.
  • Proof of English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
  • Evidence of IT-related competencies.
  • A motivation letter and curriculum vitae (CV).
  • A video CV showcasing their strengths and reasons for applying.

Shortlisted applicants will also participate in a practical interview to assess their technical knowledge.
