Hands-On Network Threat Detection and Response Using ACAS

Hands-On Network Threat Detection and Response Using ACAS

This course provides a practical, hands-on introduction to the Advanced Cybersecurity Analytics Service (ACAS), an AI-driven Network Threat Detection and Response platform. Participants will learn how to analyze network traffic, detect threats using both traditional rule-based and modern deep learning approaches, and interpret AI-driven security alerts through Explainable AI (XAI) techniques.

Course objectives

  • Understand the fundamentals of network threat detection and response
  • Analyze network traffic using deep packet inspection and flow-based features
  • Evaluate and compare rule-based vs. AI-based detection methods
  • Interpret model predictions using explainability techniques (SHAP, LIME)
  • Assess model robustness against adversarial attacks

By the end of this course, participants will gain practical skills directly applicable to Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, enabling them to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities in real-world environments.
