DigiAdvance aims to address digital skills gaps in the SME sector through the provision of low-cost, demand-driven, tailored training in key digital technologies for SME owners, managers and employees. This course is one of a number of flexible short-form courses offered by this project, which is co-funded by the EU.The main objective of the microcredential in Digital Accessibility is to explore the processes of developing and evaluating accessible digital solutions. The specific objectives are: Understand the importance of defining a digital accessibility strategy in the context of development for the web and other digital contexts; Know and discuss the concepts of digital inclusion and universal design, in the context of web and digital technologies; Know and apply international norms, standards and guidelines of conformity and accessibility for the web.Learning outcomesUpon completing the course, participants will be able to:Develop critical thinking about strategic communication in new media.Develop a strategic communication plan for an organization/institution.About DigiAdvanceDigiAdvance courses aim to advance the knowledge and skills of SME leaders, managers, employees and job seekers in key digital technologies.
