The course on “Combined Powers: Blockchain and Internet of Things in Transforming the Food Supply Chain” is designed to help structure a comprehensive understanding of how Blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT) can revolutionise the food industry. Why this course? 

This course aims to present and discuss the fundamental intricacies of both technologies - including their individual roles and the synergy they create when they are integrated within food supply chains. The course also provides an evaluation of a variety of real-world examples and applications of the technologies within the food sector - offering insights into new and existing key areas like smart farming, efficient transportation, and food safety.

Participants will explore the challenges and solutions involved in this integration of technologies, examining how Blockchain and IoT can help to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and improve traceability.
