Microcredential in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in C++ - DigiAdvance

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in C++ is a DigiAdvance course developed by University of Aveiro. DigiAdvance aims to address digital skills gaps in the SME sector through the provision of low-cost, demand-driven, tailored training in key digital technologies for SME owners, managers and employees. This course is one of a number of flexible short-form courses offered by this project, which is co-funded by the EU.
This micro-credential aims to equip students with a set of skills that are not only relevant but also indispensable in today's technology-driven scenario. C++ is one of the most popular programming languages in the world, due to the advantages it offers, such as high performance, object orientation, a high degree of flexibility, a wide variety of data structures and ready-to-use algorithms, among others.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Develop applications in c++ using the object oriented programming paradigm;
- Analyze problems and create effective solutions in C++;
- Use C++ standard libraries and relevant APIs to perform common tasks such as data input/output, string manipulation, memory management, and other specific operations;
- Understand and apply good programming practices in C++.
About DigiAdvance
DigiAdvance courses aim to advance the knowledge and skills of SME leaders, managers, employees and job seekers in key digital technologies. This course assessment could be fully online, Blended or face to face and at daytime or evening as well (to be consulted at the public notice). Participants receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the course.
