Microcredential in User Interfaces for Web with React
User Interfaces for Web with React is a DigiAdvance course developed by the University of Aveiro.
DigiAdvance aims to address digital skills gaps in the SME sector through the provision of low-cost, demand-driven, tailored training in key digital technologies for SME owners, managers and employees. This course is one of a number of flexible short-form courses offered by this project, which is co-funded by the EU.
The User Interfaces for Web with React microcredential intends to provide skills for the development of Web solutions and interfaces, considering the constant technological evolution in support solutions for their development, testing, and evaluation.
The consumption of digital content is currently done through a diverse set of devices and platforms. It is intended that the trainees understand the technical specificities of these different devices and platforms, and that they acquire skills in the development and evaluation of applications intended for them, supported by web technologies.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand the technological environment associated with the development of web interfaces, namely the Client-Side component for Web solutions.
- Understand the different Client-Side development solutions, listing the advantages of each one.
- Autonomously develop user interfaces based on client-side web frameworks (specifically ReactJS).
DigiAdvance courses aim to advance the knowledge and skills of SME leaders, managers, employees and job seekers in key digital technologies. This course assessment can be fully online, blended, or face-to-face and in the daytime or evening (to be consulted at the public notice), and participants receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the course.
Students may register for the course any time from 8 October to 16 December 2025.
