AI Hackathon 2026: The biggest celebration of artificial intelligence in Greece returns for the third, even more dynamic year! 

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACE) of the Athens University of Economics and Business announces the launch of AI Hackathon Greece 2026, the leading artificial intelligence event in the country, which returns for the third consecutive year after two impressively successful cycles that exceeded any expectation of participation and innovation. 

This year, AI Hackathon is rising to a new level, strengthening its position as a reference point for the Greek AI community and as one of the most dynamically developing events of its kind in Europe. The programme will take place on 6-8 March 2026, bringing together the most talented creators, developers, AI-enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, startupers and technology enthusiasts in this new era of AI. 

With every new year, AI Hackathon raises the bar: more teams, more innovative solutions, more networking and even more support from leading organisations and sponsors. This year's event aspires to be the largest showcase of applied artificial intelligence in Greece, connecting the academic, business and technological ecosystem in a meaningful and productive way. 

How can I participate?

• Open track: Come with your own idea! 

For teams who want to develop an original AI solution without thematic limitations. Open Track has been established as one of the two pillars of AI Hackathon participation, giving participants total freedom to create and innovate. 

• Sponsor’s challenges Track: Real challenges from the market 

Leading companies and organizations in Greece present targeted challenges in areas such as the following. Participants are invited to develop solutions that meet existing business needs, having direct access to mentoring from companies' experts. 

• AI for internal processes & enterprise efficiency
• AI for customer experience & personalization
• AI for accessibility & inclusion
• AI for sustainability, energy & environment

Entries can be made individually or in groups of 2–6 people. 
Groups will be created by the Organizing Committee.
