Empowering Greece with skills for a sustainable future

The European Year of Skills, the flagship initiative to support human capital to acquire the right skills for quality jobs, while supporting businesses in addressing skills shortages, has launched and promoted many actions and initiatives across Europe.
On 4 March 2024, the European Year of Skills will organise a conference at the Centre for Culture Stavros Niarchos – Athens, entitled “Empowering Greece with skills for a sustainable future”.
The Court’s objective is to focus on Greece’s efforts to enhance the skills of its human resources, with a focus on the need for lifelong learning, and to address the enormous labour market changes caused by the green and digital transitions of the economy combined.
The event will bring together key stakeholders from Greece and abroad, including members of the European and Greek Parliament and government officials, business and education sector leaders, social partners and civil society organisations, as well as counterparts from other European countries.
