In an increasingly unstable and crisis-prone global context, the European Union is shifting towards a more proactive approach to preparedness and comprehensive security. Strengthening trust and cooperation between EU institutions, Member States and key stakeholders is essential to counter growing threats such as cyber-attacks, disinformation and foreign interference.

On 4 February the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA) event contributes to the ongoing policy debate by exploring how science and technology can support enhanced cooperation on cybersecurity and intelligence at EU level.
