The Road to Smart Cities and Digital Sustainability

Virtual Live

The connection between digital and green transitions is becoming more and more important. As society becomes increasingly digital, it is important to ensure that this feeds into the strategy for a more sustainable economy in the future.

In this context on December 5th, IT Professionalism Europe (ITPE) will host the webinar 'The Road to Smart Cities and Digital Sustainability' from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, to discuss sustainability in IT and how people can create the skills needed to support the green transition.

This webinar will focus on current projects supporting this overlying goal, which includes the development of smart cities as well as more sustainable practices in the private sector.

During the event, they will cover ‘SMACITE, the development of two new professional roles for Smart Cities mapped to ESCO and e-CF’, as well as a new European project for a Secure and Sustainable digital infrastructure.

The event also looks at a case study for smarter and more sustainable practices in end-to-end software and cloud technology solutions company, SoftwareONE
