AI in the spotlight of Digital Week 2026 in Latvia

On March 17, the opening event of Digital Week 2026 will take place organized by the Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association (LIKTA) in cooperation with the partners of the Latvian Digital Skills Partnership.

We invite everyone interested to follow the live broadcast to jointly open Digital Week 2026, which will take place from March 16 to 20 and this year will be held in Latvia for the 17th time! Events throughout the week will focus on the development of digital skills, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the role of technology in education and entrepreneurship.

The Digital Week 2026 is organised by LIKTA in cooperation with the Latvian Digital Skills Partnership organisations and general partners – the Latvian State Radio and Television Centre (LVRTC), the Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development (VARAM), the Ministry of Education and Science (IZM) and the Culture Information Systems Centre (KISC). The Digital Week is part of the European ALL Digital Weeks.

The first AI Day in Latvia is organised by the State Digital Development Agency, the School of Public Administration and Riga TechGirls in cooperation with LIKTA and the regional partners of Digital Week in Cēsis, Jelgava, Daugavpils and Liepāja.

Participation in the first AI Day in Latvia conference and workshops is free of charge thanks to funding from the European Union Recovery Fund.
