Introduction to DevSecOps (CYRUS)

This training provides a comprehensive introduction to DevSecOps, a modern approach that integrates security into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). The primary objective is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to seamlessly implement security practices within development and operational processes.
The course is designed for software developers, security professionals, IT operations teams and students interested in cybersecurity and software development. Participants will explore key DevSecOps principles, including automation, collaboration, shift-left security, continuous testing and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
Upon completing this training, participants will be proficient in using security tools such as:
- Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
- Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST)
They will also gain expertise in securing containerized applications, monitoring threats, and implementing incident response strategies. By fostering a security-first mindset, this training helps organizations build, deploy, and maintain resilient software systems efficiently while reducing operational risks and costs.
The training, developed as part of the CYRUS project, is free of charge and offered as self-paced e-learning available on demand from April 2025 to October 2025 with a duration of approximately 1 hour.
