Restoring backups using Duplicati (CYRUS)
This training equips participants with the essential skills to restore encrypted, incremental and compressed file backups using Duplicati. Designed within the scope of the CYRUS project, the course focuses on data recovery, business continuity and disaster recovery, making it ideal for system administrators, IT professionals and cybersecurity practitioners.
Participants will learn how to restore files from backups, recover lost data due to system failure or accidental deletion and troubleshoot restoration issues. They will also gain expertise in navigating the Duplicati interface, securely handling encryption keys and understanding various restore options.
Upon completing this training, participants will:
- Use Duplicati to restore backed-up files
- Understand the various restore options in Duplicati
- Restore files even if the original Duplicati installation is lost
The training is free of charge and offered as self-paced e-learning available on demand from April 2025 to October 2025 with a duration of approximately 2 hours.
