Technical University of Denmark Master of Science in Communication Technologies and System Design

The MSc Eng in Communication Technologies and System Design at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) aims to train engineers that are able to maintain existing communication technologies and develop and design new ones. This programme is available as an Industry study programme allowing students to combine work and study over a 4-year period. Rules apply to take this approach to this master's degree.
Study programme
The study programme covers advanced component and system design through complex network structures as well as the development of services and ICT solutions that meet user expectations. The programme courses include three central, traditional disciplines which are component and software design, system development and methods, and applications. Students will also be able to choose a study line should they want to. The options for specialisation are:
- High-speed Communication
- Mobile/Wireless Communication and Internet of Things
- Communication Software and Cyber Security
- Signal Processing, Coding and Visual Communication
- Enabling Technologies for Communication System Design
The selection of a study line will appear on the diploma awarded and will impact the study plan undertaken. Each student is able to customise and design their own study programme in line with their personal and career interests.
