FH Technikum Wien

FH Technikum Wien is an Austrian University of Applied Sciences for Technology and Digitalisation. It was founded in 1994 and was the first Vienna institution to be granted university status. Since 2012, she has been a member of the European University Association (EUA) and network partner of the FEEI – Association of Electrical and Electronics Industries.
The University of Applied Sciences operates several research institutions and centres focusing on topics such as smart grids, embedded systems, automotive technology and robotics. The institution consists of four faculties:
- Computer Science & Applied Mathematics
- Electronic Engineering & Entrepreneurship
- Industrial engineering
- Life Science Engineering
Since its creation, the University of Applied Sciences has generated around 15.000 graduates. As of 2023, more than 4500 students will be trained in around 28 bachelor’s and master’s programmes.
