Microcredential in strategic communication for new media - DigiAdvance
Strategic Communication for New Media is a DigiAdvance course developed by University of Aveiro. DigiAdvance aims to address digital skills gaps in the SME sector through the provision of low-cost, demand-driven, tailored training in key digital technologies for SME owners, managers and employees. This course is one of a number of flexible short-form courses offered by this project, which is co-funded by the EU.
This microcredential aims to provide skills for the development of a communication plan, based on digital media, from its conception stage to its evaluation.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Develop critical thinking about strategic communication in new media.
- Develop a strategic communication plan for an organization/institution.
About DigiAdvance
DigiAdvance courses aim to advance the knowledge and skills of SME leaders, managers, employees and job seekers in key digital technologies. This course assessment could be fully online, Blended or face to face and at daytime or evening as well (to be consulted at the public notice). Participants receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the course.
Students may register for the course any time from June 11th to 12th September 2025.
