CYBERWISER.eu's goal is to improve the European cybersecurity landscape for professionals and businesses with a special focus on small and medium sized entreprises (SMEs).
The initiative provides a user-friendly environment for training professionals in the cybersecurity field, whilst targeting both public and private organisations and their employees.
CYBERWISER.eu aims to address the urgent need for digital experts and skilled professionals in cybersecurity throughout Europe . At the same time, the initiative is placed within the wider context of an increased global dependency on information and communications technologies (ICTs), and the increased sophistication of cyberattacks and malicious attempts. The project leverages state-of-art methodologies and tools to:
- Help organisations embed an integrated approach to cybersecurity in their organisational structure and decision-making processes.
- Provide a learning pathway (from basic to advanced level) which combines theory and practice.
- Upskill employees in SMEs and the public sector to reduce the likelihood of cyber-related incidents and equip them with the skills they need to excel.
To achieve this, CYBERWISER.eu offers a repository of online resources on cybersecurity and training opportunities on 4 levels (Primer, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced). This way, the initiative offers a progressive learning path to everyone - from equipping complete beginners with the knowledge they need to advance, to experts in the cybersecurity field, interested in upskilling.
