AI and Health

The demand for training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for health is increasing among healthcare practitioners and stakeholders in biomedical research. The Advanced Digital Skills program, AI and Health, offers five types of training.

  1. A joint curriculum is provided by Aix-Marseille Université, Università di Pisa, Stockholm University, and Universitat Autonoma di Barcelona, with Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the University of Bucharest associated. Each partner offers a speciality in Master 2, such as AI and biomarkers, AI and medical technologies, AI and Big Data, and AI and Health Informatics. Successful completion leads to a double degree.
  2. Two MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) are available on the e-learning platform at Stockholm University, complementing the Master's teaching units. A digital certification is awarded upon completion.
  3. Workshops on digital technologies allow students and advanced learners to practice using available resources and equipment at Pisa and Marseille.
  4. Three short-term courses for professionals, led by INRIA, are tailored to industry needs and delivered by trainers from academic and research institutions, as well as industry clusters involved in technology transfer.
  5. Recorded conferences are available in four different EU languages on the EU digital skills and jobs platform for wider dissemination to the general public.
