Is Cybersecurity Becoming Saturated?

I recently had a discussion with some peers about cyberwarfare and its relevance in today’s and future digital landscape. During our conversation, one of them argued that cybersecurity is already saturated—that there are enough professionals in the field and no real need for more.

This got me thinking—is cybersecurity truly at a saturation point? With the ever-evolving nature of cyber threats, data breaches, and the rise of AI-driven attacks, it seems like cybersecurity would continue to be in high demand. But since I’m not from this field, I’d love to hear insights from those who are.

What do you think? Is the cybersecurity job market becoming overcrowded, or is there still room (and need) for more experts?

Looking forward to your thoughts!
