The project aims to prepare and deliver a comprehensive master's program on Digital Twins for Complex Infrastructures and Urban ecosystems, specifically targeting civil engineers working in strategic areas like transport, cities, energy, water, and the environment. The master's program will have a duration of one year, offering a blended learning approach that is international, executive, and professional. Its main focus will be on providing training in relevant digital skills required for digital twins in infrastructures, such as IoT, AI, and data analytics. These skills will be instrumental in the digitalization of current and future infrastructures. The program will incorporate innovative teaching methodologies alongside practical teamworking, allowing students to pursue individualized itineraries based on their own interests.Another objective of the project is to establish a globally recognized Center of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to digital twins for complex infrastructures and urban ecosystems. The CoE will play a leadership role and contribute to defining and standardizing the concept of digital twins. The project's global mission is supported by four pillars: training and education, technology watching, research and technology transfer, connections between academia, industry, and society, and technical maturation, entrepreneurship, and identification of business models. To achieve these goals, the project leverages the strengths of a diverse consortium comprising four highly reputed Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from four countries, a research center specializing in Artificial Intelligence, and four specialized SMEs. The project also involves the active participation of all members of the EELISA European University who are involved in civil engineering education. ScopePrepare and deliver a comprehensive master on Digital Twins for Complex Infrastructures and Urban ecosystems targeting civil engineers who work in strategic areas such as transport, cities, energy, water, and environment.PartnersUniversidad Politécnica de MadridÉcole Nationale des Ponts et ChausséesNommon Solutions and Technologies SLTyris AI SLİstanbul Teknik ÜniversitesiFundación Agustín de BetancourtBudapesti Muszaki es Gazdasagtudomany EgyetemAltametrisUniversitaea Politehnica din BucurestiDirector: Ignacio González TejadaCoordinator: Rocío López EspinosaProject Manager: Beatriz Martín Bautista CerroWebsite: https://www.digitwin4ciue.eu/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/digital-twins-for-infrastructures-cities/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/digitwins4ciue/ 28 November 2023Executive Master in Digital Twins for Infrastructures and Cities (DIGITWINS4CIUE) published 18 October 2024DIGITWIN4CIUE project-Scholarships for the Executive Master in Digital Twins on Infrastructures and cities 2024-202523 January 2024Unlocking the Future with Digital Twins: Connecting Theory and Practice
