Expert Channel TV is an online media platform that delivers high-quality content on-demand and across social media platforms. As an online media channel, we believe in making quality online content accessible on an international scale. We curate learning content from international experts in English and Spanish. Our different formats: video, podcast and digital magazine cater to different learning styles and content preferences. Expert Channel TV pledges to enable citizens with the basic digital skills to navigate the most common online situations: building an online presence, using social media and messaging platforms safely, safe online shopping basics, online video conferencing skills.  We will do this through actionable workshops where attendees will be able to learn how to use the most common online tools and implement the skills in situ so that they can leave the workshop feeling empowered and confident having acquired the basic skills to navigate and communicate effectively online and knowing how to use the most popular online tools confidently: shopping online, video conferencing and messaging, creating an online presence and navigating social media platforms.  This training will benefit: Any citizen wanting to learn the basics of the digital world whether that is for career advancement or personal development purposes. Parents and teachers who need to stay current. Unemployed people or those looking to advance their career or want to upskill to meet the new business standards. They will be able to learn how to do a successful online interview and create an online presence that highlights their personal brand. People who might feel they did not jump on the digital wagon and that it is too late to do so now, they will not only learn but also feel more valuable as part of the society. People living alone, who might have felt isolated during lockdown, learning the basics of told such as messaging tools and social media, will help them feel less isolated. People who avoid shopping online for fear of being hacked, learning the basic safety rules will enable them to feel safer when shopping online. The workshops will be held online via free tools such as video conferencing platforms with clear instructions on how to join. Each topic will have clear explanations, written and video materials for self-study and reference after the workshop and Q&A during the workshop and on a special session a week after the workshop. Workshops will be held in English and Spanish.
