The Link-Learn-Earn Hub for Digital Employability

The Link-Learn-Earn Hub for Digital Employability

End date 30/12/2021

The Link-Learn-Earn Hub project (LLEH) proposes to address the structural transformation of the labour market in Romania due to the growing digital society in which more people are affected by loss of jobs due to both automation and COVID-19. The main objective of the proposed project is to develop digital competences mainly for unemployed people but also for those that are at risk of exclusion from the labour market. The new full pathway will enable them to develop their ICT skills, a ‘learning to learn’ attitude, a sense of initiative, and interpersonal and social skills necessary to find a job. To close the loop, the system will have direct links to private and public employment services. Project beneficiaries will be directly supported in their journey to land a job in the digital economy, by being engaged in the following four integrated services of the project: 1. Minimum 3000 beneficiaries will register to the platform and will use the profiling tool to identify the existing user skills, competences, attitudes and experience. These will then be combined with the age, personal goals and formal education to place the user in an employment matrix. 2. At least 1500 beneficiaries will be provided with digital employability pathways which will define what individual training needs, experiences and work needs to be undertaken to achieve the objectives. 3. 1500 beneficiaries will enter learning/training activities (minimum 1000 will graduate) which will mostly consist of offerings from MS Learn and LinkedIn Learning. The recognition of user training, skills and experience through certification will also be part of the innovative LLE solution. 4. All graduating beneficiaries (1000) will be supported with making job applications and an onboarding support system will be developed to assist each individual with transitioning from an unemployment status to a successful first step into a digital job-related employment. Minimum 100 beneficiaries will find employment before December 2021.
