Root-me PRO is committed to closing the cybersecurity skills and talent gap in the European Union. We pledge to offer a programme that introduces the main technical areas of cybersecurity to 5,000 European citizens by the end of October 2027.

Our pledge


Root-Me PRO and the Root-Me association have been working tirelessly for nearly 20 years to promote inclusive cybersecurity. Supporting the Cybersecurity Skills Academy initiative seemed like evidence.

Our initiative

Title: Discovery and course guidance CTF
Description: A selection of over 20 practical tasks/challenges introducing various technical concepts and the associated jobs (Pentester, SOC analyst, Cryptologist,  Devsecops, System and Network Administrator (between 2-5 hours).
Target audience: Academia of industry- Academia Network of the Cybersecurity Skills Academy  who wish to help their students chose a career path or discover cybersecurity. Could be also used as a good introduction for re-skilling or up-skilling.
Location: Online contents but can be done physically by the members of the Academy
Languages: English or French
Cost: Free for the members of the Academia Network

Root-Me PRO

Root-Me PRO is the professional version of the famous Root-Me platform (a non-profit organization) that provides thousands of individuals with free cybersecurity training.
Now a reference in cybersecurity in France and abroad, with a community of hundreds of thousands of players, the public platform offers varied and regularly updated content, including hundreds of challenges for all levels (from beginner to expert).

Root-Me PRO was created to meet two objectives:

  • To offer professionals (schools and companies) concrete means of responding to the challenges of cybersecurity training and awareness, as well as recruitment and visibility among a community of enthusiasts and experts.
  • To perpetuate Root-Me's associative model, in particular the principles of sharing and mutual aid, which for more than 18 years have enabled many people to discover cybersecurity free of charge, to train and improve their skills in contact with other passionate members.
