Digital Competence Test
This digital tool provides an opportunity to citizens, educators and teachers to self-assess their digital skills level across six areas of competence related to learning and teaching. The test is free to take for both groups. Questions, specific to educators range from type of digital tools used and frequency of use, to digital teaching skills and participation in trainings and webinars related to upskilling. The Digital competence self-assessment test is aligned with the European Commission's Digital Competence Framework (DigComp 2.0), which assesses users' skills against competence areas such as content creation or safety.
For educators in particular, digital skills are now essential and necessary to enhance traditional teaching and learning methods and exploit the potential of digital technologies for education. With this free test, teachers and educators can start assessing what they know - and what they need to know to make their classroom an innovative and inclusive space for all.
